One such strategic area identified is CASE Automotive Business (Connected Autonomous Shared & Electric Automotive Business).

Connected & Autonomous Cars as this space if often referred to, is one of the most exciting things happening in the industry today, and is seeing the convergence of Technology - software & hardware, IT and Automotive Engineering like never before to create a true Business 4.0 TM ecosystem. The industry value chain itself has expanded much beyond Automotive to cover Technology, Media & Communication, Insurance, Telecom and many others, and has touch points all the way from the Connected Car to the Connected Customer, Connected Home and potentially the Connected Workplace. 
The CASE Auto Business team has chosen five key business focal points or ‘Product Tracks’, which are CASE Auto Academy & Practice, Autonomous Vehicle Development, Vehicle to Ecosystem Services, Fleet Business Services and Electric Vehicle & Battery Systems Business, each under a designated Product Manager.
As part of this strategic entrepreneurial initiative, we are looking for strong business leaders who would like to participate in this journey.
Job Description:   
The Data Monetization Lead will bring in cutting edge expertise in utilization of Vehicle to Ecosystem (V2X) data for third party monetization. The role will partner with the Product Manager and compliment him / her with industry leading skills & expertise in data monetization, find business connects and provide insights to shape the business by deploying the strategy and driving growth in line with the company’s expectations. They are expected to establish strategic capability in data monetization solutions for clients in the Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric automotive space. May be expected to lead strategic client programs in part or full from time to time.


Responsibilities:  
The role will establish frameworks, business model and partnerships to create a data monetization service line for the V2X business for both vehicle and customer side data. Identify the sources of data, marketplaces, solution strategy, business case etc. Primary responsibility is to drive business growth in this space.

Measurement Metrics for the role include: (1) Revenue Generation (2) Assets & Solutions in area of Practice (3) Scale of Team (4) Client Engagements (5) Partner Engagement

Qualifications: 
(1) Over 12-15 years of automotive industry experience from OEM / Tier 1 with global brands
(2) Some experience in other industries such as insurance, location based businesses, DOTs or government agencies such as NHTSA, especially marketing related experience considered valuable
(3) Hands on experience in data monetization solutions in automotive or related industries
(4) Has provided leadership in designing and executing a data monetization program
(5) Proven delivery of assets / solutions in data monetization
(6) Demonstrated ability to work with business, VP and C levels in client organizations
(7) Deep appreciation of technology, analytics requirements and experience with state of the art technologies including big data, mobility, cloud platforms, intelligent analytics and the Internet of Things (IoT)
(8) Understanding of Agile, data warehousing, unstructured data environments, big data technologies and data science tools.
(9) Strong familiarity with SAE standards in vehicle connection and automation, connected vehicle data types, FIPPs, Consumer privacy protection, Vehicle data privacy principles, NHTSA and FTC regulations.
(10) Strong people management and relationship building skills (DOTs, city managements, Insurance, location based businesses etc)
(11) Strong communication skills
(12) Very strong organizational building expertise
(13) Experience of working with / for major consulting or analyst forums in similar space will be an added advantage
