Description:

Position requires a wide variety of technical skills and expertise and the ability to consult and provide guidance to Our Client  Media customers on Our Client solutions, address issues/challenges, and advice customers on their digital strategies and technology roadmap. Understands business needs to architect, develop and implement enterprise solutions that solve business and technology problems. Stays abreast of emerging technologies and is viewed as a technology thought leader in the CBO ITIS Media business unit.  Routinely called upon by Our Clientleadership to address complex business and technology architecture issues.  Identify and communicate technical trends within the industry by facilitating learning sessions for other technical associates.

Assist major programs development & support Media delivery teams deliver an integrated Infrastructure Solution Architecture for customers.  Utilize breadth of knowledge across all technology & application domains to provide technical design recommendations with a goal of completing projects & programs that deliver business value to Our Client's clients.  Support long-term Our Client's organizational strategies and evolution of technology and facilitate technical discussions that lead to alignment behind a recommendation and/or a solution.

Duties & Responsibilities: 
• Demonstrate deep expertise in technical design by articulating the strengths and weaknesses associated with utilizing alternative architecture solutions. 
• Portfolio Management: Key participant in technology planning activities from both a technical and financial perspective.  Utilize cost/benefit analysis skills when determining a proper architecture solution 
• Recommend technology transformations based on technical trends or changes in the nature of the systems; provide cost/benefit analysis for architecture design; balance the requirements for quality against development and maintenance costs in resolving architecture issues. Determine new ways to package existing technologies in order to produce innovative architectures; suggest new technologies that should be developed to surpass the limitations of existing infrastructure. 
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions; demonstrate an ability to draw on both business and technical expertise; establish a high level trust among both business and technical professionals.
• Provide analysis and design using the company mandated methodology and toolset. Provide high level analysis and facilitate design sessions. Proficient in design/analysis on a number of software/hardware platforms. 
• Provide roadmap that illustrates the approach for solution design & delivery that should be undertaken for complex projects. 
 Key Responsibilities:
• Assume leadership of client engagements and be able to work without direct supervision and interface with Customer executive IT and business leadership
• Responsible for consulting ITIS Delivery and Customer on large infrastructure initiatives 
• Work closely with the sales and delivery teams during the presales phases
• Responsible for project scoping, statement of works, acceptance, test criterion execution and sign-offs (i.e. reviewing technical feasibility proposals from customers or Bill of Material (BOM) validation) 
• Maintain continual contact with IS technology CoEs and alliance managers to stay
informed of the latest initiatives, developments and capabilities
• Assist IS teams in framing technology solutions into business terms
• Support Due Diligence and Contracting phases by identifying client-specific technology
integration and unique technology requirements
• Assure clarity of technical communication between Our client's on-site teams and client O Director / CTO level executives
• Publish technical whitepapers or case studies

Qualifications:

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field equivalent
• Available to travel when required (~80%)
• 10+ years of experience in multiple infrastructure technologies
• 3+ years of experience working in consulting roles in the media industry.  Have experience supporting digital transformation for media and entertainment customers.
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud technologies
• 10+ years of experience designing and supporting large scale environment with multi-tier Distributed clustered systems (Real-time, Web, DB, Networking systems)
• Excellent presentation, business, analytical, problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal) 
• Experienced in presenting at IT industry forums and conferences (i.e., whitepapers and case studies)
• Possesses excellent knowledge of various IT technologies (e.g., Automation, Dev/Ops, Containers. Cloud)
• Excellent ability to elicit customer requirements, define limits to project scope and develop / review / approve Statement of works
• Exposure working in a global delivery model leveraging offshore locations
• High level understanding of media and entertainment business process & technologies 
• Extensive experience in CXO advisory focused on strategy, planning and transformational business & IT Solutions (Emphasis on Integration, packaged solutions, business process, enterprise architecture, cloud solutions and governance)
• Experience in ensuring software technology platform and products address customer business objectives and capabilities, ROI, and future technology roadmap

Preferences:

• Prior consulting experience
• Advanced techndology certifications 
• Advance Enterprise Architecture Framework certification (i.e. TOGAF or Zachman)
• Prior experiences in media and entertainment Industry

• Advanced project management certification (i.e., PMP)
• Advanced technical certifications in multiple technologies from DC automation, artificial intelligence, Dev/Ops, comput, storage, network DB, and security.
• Advance certification in ITIL
