Position Details: Chief Data Architect-Data Governance

Description:

This role will own generating and executing opportunities engaging with the CDO community within the BFSI customers, through consultative work in defining the data strategy in the light of “All Data” lake creations and consumption of the data for ML/AI use cases. The job will need travel across the US but can be stationed where the existing concentration of BFSI customers is high (preferably NY/NJ)

Responsibilities: 
• Strategic Responsibilities :
• Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders 
• Create a partner network with CDOs, leading product vendors and analyst groups dealing with CDO related solutions areas (ML & AI initiatives, Visual Analytics & MI, Regulatory Reporting, Data governance/Data Quality/Data Lineage, Enterprise Data Model)
• Monitoring new technology and solution space within the CDO work space
• Core responsibilities:
• Identify accounts and create opportunity pipeline
• Engage with CDO organisation to (Consulting role):
• Support in defining data strategies
• Build roadmap for creating ML/AI CoEs and data consumption initiatives
• Support define cloud initiatives for data platforms
• Support data governance initiatives, data lineage, data quality solutions
• Support APIfication and Microservices initiatives
• Provide latest updates in the data space to CDO organisation


Qualifications: 
• +15 years in the industry and with +5 years in data architect role in project deliveries
• Experience of working in Banking and Financial Services for +3 yrs
• Lead solution and technical roles as part of delivery engagements
• Excellent understanding of data models, ETL, RDBMS, Reporting and Analytics tools and technologies
• Very good understanding of analytical solutions life cycle, use cases and algorithms
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent team building and leadership skills
