Position Details: Event Marketing Manager

Location: Edison, NJ
Openings: 1

Description:

This newly created, full-time position is based in North America and reports directly to the B&TS M&C Event Lead 


Key responsibilities: 
planning, managing and executing Our client participation in sponsored trade shows and custom events
holistic project management (timeline, deliverables, resources/vendors and budget)
negotiating sponsorship contracts
managing event design and production vendors
working with third-party event managers and staff at conference venues
providing supervision for the installation and dismantling of exhibit properties
liaising with multiple internal teams (finance, legal, brand) and stakeholders (business leaders and marketing managers) to fulfill the requirements within ERCs (event resource centers) and always ensure total alignment across Our Client
coordinating the efforts of several internal resources at events
comprehensive on-sight event management
introducing innovative activation tactics by researching and reporting on the latest industry trends
identifying opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements

Key requirements:
a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree (certification in meeting/event planning is a plus)
a minimum of 7 to 10 years experience managing corporate events, sponsorships and tradeshows
operate in a virtual environment with teams which span several geographies, time zones and cultures
occasional early-AM calls and domestic travel between 30 and 35% (occasionally over weekends)
proficient with entire Microsoft Office suite
