Position Details: Product Lead Architect Apttus

Required Qualifications: 

• A proven Senior solution architect / an Apttus product expert with 10+ years of design/architect experience and at least 5 full life cycle SalesForce.com implementations, with strong expertise in at least two of the following areas/modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, marketing Cloud with mandatory experience in Apttus CPQ Tool

• Apttus CPQ/CLM/Quote to cash certified (201 and 202) – must have

• Strong functional knowledge of Lead to Cash process with expertise in Quote-to-Cash, Configuration, Product Catalog/modeling, Pricing, Quoting and CLM functional areas

• Deep understanding of Sales, order and commerce business processes

• Must have Salesforce developer/admin certification with 3+ years of development experience with Apex, VisualForce, Force.com and Angular JS

• Good knowledge of Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, Struts)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CRM tool set and have worked with JavaScript, Java, Rules Engines, Object Modeling, or XML

• Minimum of 2 years of design and coding skills in JSP, RIA, or SQL

• Experience with Commerce, Configuration, Output, SFDC integration, product catalog/price list integration

• JIRA experience

• Willing to travel as required

 

Responsibilities: 

• As a subject matter expert, judges the tradeoffs with technology and feasibility and makes choices that fit the constraints of the project

• Works directly with clients/business leaders/process owners to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, develops and delivers key components of solution

• Ability to guide customer towards uses of standard out of the box software functionality to meet business requirements instead of relying on custom code solution. Understand platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations

• Provide pre-sales support as requested.  Participate in potential customer proof of concept (POC)

• Ability to lead/facilitate design and modeling sessions with the client

• Lead the creation of project deliverables, spanning from process to system design elements with an emphasis on functional and technical design

• Functioning as Apttus product specialist within the organization and industry. Participate in various communities and speaker at industry events

• Help to setup Apttus center of excellence as part of Our client Salesforce Quote-to-Cash practice

• Translates CPQ business requirements to solution design specification

• Understand, design, supervise, and create technical configurations using Configuration product’s tools, languages scripts based technologies

• Ability to design, implement, and test leading-edge Quote and Product Configuration integrations with SFDC

• If needed, coordinate developer tasks on large projects; lead design and code reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Provides guidance on all phases of SDLC and the impact of Apttus CPQ

• Support testing and root cause analysis, and provides lessons learned

• Mentor junior staff
