The Future Manufacturing Enterprise Team was carved out as a SWAT group to entrepreneurially seek white space growth opportunities in the Business 4.0 TM ecosystem, drive strategic growth and elevate market positioning for the Business Group. One such strategic area identified is CASE Automotive Business (Connected Autonomous Shared & Electric Automotive Business).

Connected & Autonomous Cars as this space if often referred to, is one of the most exciting things happening in the industry today, and is seeing the convergence of Technology - software & hardware, IT and Automotive Engineering like never before to create a true Business 4.0 TM ecosystem. The industry value chain itself has expanded much beyond Automotive to cover Technology, Media & Communication, Insurance, Telecom and many others, and has touch points all the way from the Connected Car to the Connected Customer, Connected Home and potentially the Connected Workplace. 
The CASE Auto Business team has chosen six key business focal points or ‘Product Tracks’, which are CASE Auto Academy & Practice, Autonomous Vehicle Development, Vehicle Verification and Validation, Vehicle to Ecosystem Services, Fleet Business Services and Electric Vehicle & Battery Systems Business, each under a designated Product Manager.
As part of this strategic entrepreneurial initiative, we are looking for strong business leaders who would like to participate in this journey.
Job Description:   
The Industry SME will role will bring in cutting edge expertise in the field of Automotive Autonomous Verification and Validation solutions. They are expected to work with other areas of practice in the Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric (CASE) auto ecosystem to shape our value propositions. Could be expected to lead strategic client programs in part or full from time to time, participate in strategic proposals, partnerships and solution development. The aspirants must be willing to operate in flat organization structures and across functional teams to leverage the best of capabilities available for a given requirement.

This role will join a team developing the next generation of Autonomous Vehicle Verification and Validation / Simulation solutions with a strong focus on Test management and Scenario development and management framework, for solving key industry issues in the automotive validation industry.

Responsibilities:  
Strong Experience in the Automotive Autonomous Vehicle Development and Validation area. 
The key expectations on this role include –
1) Position Client as a ‘Trusted Advisor’ and ‘Partner’ with the customer  
2) Continuously scan of market environment for white spaces and growth opportunities – identify, validate and build business case for Intellectual Property 
3) Develop deep understanding of the business strategies of the customers, competitive landscape and technology preferences; implications for us
4) Driving Business Growth – Connect with a portfolio of customers to drive revenue growth; participate in response of key RFPs etc. 
5) Partnerships – 
6) Practice Capability Building – Participate and defining & building industry leading capabilities 
7) Team Building – Attract talent from the market, mentor & coach them 

The said role will partner with the Product Manager and complement him / her with industry leading skills & expertise, business connects and insights to shape the business by deploying the strategy and driving growth in line with the company’s expectations. They are expected to establish strategic capability in the area of practice. May be expected to lead strategic client programs in part or full from time to time.

Measurement Metrics for the role include: (1) Revenue Generation (2) Assets & Solutions in area of Practice (3) Scale of Team (4) Client Engagements (5) Partner Engagement

Qualifications: 
(1) 10-15+ years Automotive industry experience from OEM / Tier 1 with global brands
(2) Experience in relevant Industry Domain -  Autonomous Vehicle Development program with a focus on Vehicle Verification and Validation in  Autonomous, ADAS areas 
(3) Has provided leadership to at-least one relevant program in the space
(4) Demonstrated ability to work at CX / VP levels in organizations
(5) Deep appreciation of technology, especially the latest emerging technology solutions in Autonomous Vehicle Validation tools and processes
(6) Conversant with start-up ecosystem in automotive business
(7) Recognized Industry Expert / Established Credentials 
(8) Strong Communication Skills, as evidenced in speaking engagements / publications
(9) Organizational building expertise 
(10) Experience of working with / for major consulting or analyst firms in similar space will be an added
