Description:
•Provides supply chain process and technical expertise to guide clients in supply chain improvement programs and to provide supply chain systems support.
•Brings knowledge and experience in Inventory Management. Has knowledge of stocking policies, performance measures, and strategies that ensure inventory accuracy, reliability, as well as right sizing/optimizing inventory levels while supporting operational and business plans. Familiarity with inventory scorecards and KPIs. Ability to investigate stock out situations, conduct root-cause analyses, identify fixes.
•Experienced in working with Inventory Management Systems. Knowledge of technical features in Inventory Management and Warehouse Management, such as Stock Transport Orders, Goods Movements, Goods Issues, Cycle Counting, Outbound & Inbound Delivery Document management, Pick/Pack & Ship, RF Processing and Barcoding etc.
•Experienced with at least one supply chain implementation with cross-functional work streams, from the initial phases of planning, configuration design and requirements definition through implementation and transition to customer support.
•Develops/institutionalizes leading practices in client projects; strives for leading-edge process implementations and gets the best thinking from his/her staff and client team members.
•Confidently and effectively manages client staff and project resources to deliver results.
•Based on program objectives, drafts proposals, plans phased project execution, develops detailed project plans and manages program budgets and costs; fosters shared accountability for the results-based implementation plan. Presents point of view on Supply Chain & Inventory Management practices during client interactions.
•Coordinates various stakeholders (client and internal and participates in supporting executive level client Steering Committee meetings; manages conflict resolution among various stakeholders/staff to successfully drive change management initiatives.
•Travel Expectations: Minimal. Based in Warsaw, IN.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree or Higher, in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred), or Supply Chain Management
•3-7 years supply-chain management related experience – either in Industry or in Consulting
•Life Sciences Industry experience is a plus
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Good presentation skills – development and delivery
•Understanding of supply chain applications is preferred (SAP, Oracle, JDA/i2, Kinaxis, etc.)
