JOB SUMMARY
The position will be responsible for all global management accounting activities – budgeting and managing financial performance as well as oversight of statutory accounting matters. The position will also be responsible for legal, regulatory, and compliance functions as well as merger & acquisition activity, modeling, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for global management accounting, planning, and analysis for businesses - such as budgeting and monthly forecasting.
Responsible for reporting daily sales of the business, monthly headcount and any other miscellaneous corporate reports.
Management oversight of statutory accounting matters for global business. 
Provide global leadership and guidance to the finance leaders of the various businesses.
Responsible for monthly US GAAP reporting of financial analysis and variance commentary.
Responsible for reporting on financial performance and providing management information to support the business.
Able to be a business partner to the CEO of the organization to forecast and measure financial performance.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve bottom line profitability.
Optimize financial operations and implementation of cross-unit synergies for the business operations.
Liaison with various corporate functions as a representative of the organization.
Provide management and support for all acquisitions, including financial modeling, overseeing due diligence and coordinating financial integration.
Coordinate legal, regulatory and compliance functions for the organization as directed by CEO in concert with legal.
Manage special projects as they occur.

Sets vision and direction through resource allocation decisions for multiple significant organizations or business units where each is typically led by an executive. Develops corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Detailed knowledge of company allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas. Provides vision and direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Recognized as an influential leader within and outside the organization.

JOB COMPLEXITY
Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business.  Through assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates core issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas.  Requires in-depth knowledge of the function, business strategies, and the company's goals as well as external factors affecting the governance of company activities.

DISCRETION
Erroneous decisions may impact the company's viability.

INTERACTION
Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, consultants, and corporate leaders, requiring negotiation skills over extremely critical matters. Influences long-term vision and strategy of corporate consequence.

SUPERVISION
Directs and controls the activities of more than one functional area, division, product group or service area through VP level executive leaders who have overall operational responsibility for their assigned functions, geographic regions, and businesses.  Generally reports to a global corporate functional area executive.
TRAVEL

The position requires domestic and international travel, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

15+ years of progressive management experience with minimum 5 years at Executive level finance position

Public/private accounting experience in a technology business

CURRENT CPA LICENSE IS REQUIRED

Experience in a U.S. multinational corporation

Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business integrations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

PC Skills required Excel, PowerPoint & Word. Working experience with SAP.  Hyperion experiences a plus. 

Foreign language a plus.
