Description:

Title - Engagement Director – Data Migration

Location: Any US Location. Candidate must be willing to travel to client site on weekly basis.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Subject Matter Expert in Data Migration. 
•Responsible for interacting with various business stakeholders for creating and finalizing data migration strategy, creating the migration plan and procedures and performing the data migration. 
•Responsible for creating and presenting the status reports to clients on data migration.
•Responsible for executing data migration activities from various sources to target applications.

Skill set required:
•Overall 15 years of experience in IT. Minimum of 12 years of experience in data migration.
•Demonstrate experience in the definition and implementation of the strategy and solution to support the migration of legacy data into the SAP Application.
•Experience in the identification and qualification of source data to satisfy master and transactional data requirements for the customer application.
•Investigate source system for data availability and accuracy. Design and implement processes to ensure data quality.
•Experience to lead data assessment and mapping activities, and architect the underlying migration framework to extract, transform, validate, enrich and load the legacy source data.
•Execute technical leadership on the use of the technology platform and tools to perform the profiling and migration of legacy data.
•Demonstrate experience in planning and managing the efforts of technical developers
•Develop a Data Migration Test Plan to support validation of extracted/transformed data by stakeholders and manage the plan prior to delivery of data for any mock migration or cutover activity.
•Coordinate data validations and business sign off
