Brief Posting Description:
Performs outside sales and is responsible for increasing company sales and margins by calling on and building relationships with new and existing accounts. This is a hunter role.
Detailed Job Description:
Qualifies accounts by determining market potential.
Calls on new accounts and solicits business.
Increases sales and margins for new customer accounts.
Identifies buying influences.
Makes regularly scheduled visits with each account.
Develops long-term relationship and influences buying decisions.
Provides quotations either directly or in conjunction with sales team.
Demonstrates products and services to customers.
Performs joint calls with preferred vendors.
Increases account penetration.
Utilizes sales management tools for sales planning and documenting opportunities.

Computer literacy.
Experience-
Outside sales in related industry – 3 years required 5 years preferred
Track record of success in business to business sales- required
Product knowledge in Electrical - preferred
Familiarity working with customers in the following categories Electrical Contractors, Commercial construction and Data centers -preferred
Education-
High School Degree or equivalent required Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
Candidate Must Have:
Outside b-2-b sales experience - 3 years required
New territory development experience required
Ability to close a sale
Electrical product knowledge - preferred
Pricing analysis and quotation experience - required
