Position Details: Digital Architect-Life Sciences Domain

Job Description :   

Experienced Life Sciences Digital Transformation or Digital Transformation Consultants driving Digital Advisory and Transformation, for pharmaceutical and medical devices companies. Provides specific digital expertise, solution and thought leadership across the industry landscape. 

• More than twelve years of experience in the Life Sciences (LS) industry (incl. Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices) or IT Companies in the area of  software engineering / solution development.

• Strong software engineering/development background (Java, NodeJS, Python, Scala / Cloud).

• Hands-on experience of modern software architectures such as micro-services, CQRS etc. Recent experience of delivering web-based services, ReSTful APIs or complex integrations

• Experience in development frameworks such as angular.js, node.js

• Experience in developing business aligned IT solutions leveraging latest technologies.

• Direct working experience in the LS related industry for a minimum of 5 years

• Nice to have : Life Sciences Digital platform solutioning / engineering 

• Ability to architect end-to-end solutions for our customers using open source, IoT Platforms and Services, Distributed computing, Big data and analytics.

• Experience in cloud computing, big data analytics, AI/Machine Learning and microservices architecture with full-cycle experience in implementing IT solutions in agile mode in defining, delivering, improving Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent presentation skills – development and delivery

• Coaching and mentoring teams with strong expertise in Digital and Emerging technologies

• Good  understanding of life sciences industry global trends, technology trends and technology and standards

Responsibilities

• Drives Advisory opportunity discovery and diagnostics to help shape an end state vision for clients’ businesses to develop digital strategy, architecture and roadmap

• Guides clients in the adoption of leading-edge technologies and best practices; get the best thinking from the team and client team members, in their implementation

• Confidently and effectively manages client stakeholders and Client resources to deliver results

• Define solutions based on modern digital architecture by collaborating with Domain and other Subject Matter Expert to define and develop digital solutions for Life Sciences.

• Development of consulting and advisory related tools, accelerators and competency of the team. Create rapid demo and prototype to illustrate business solution or benefits.

• Where needed, in an owner or supporter role, drafts proposals, plans phased project execution, develops detailed project plans and manages program budgets and costs; fosters shared accountability for the results-based implementation plan

• Facilitates the development of Life Sciences asset advancements by submissions to Client’ intellectual capital repository.

• Consultative digital offering and solutions selling competence incl. excellent presentation skills, ability to manage complex situations and team structure incl. client 

Qualification

• Engineering Graduate or Post Graduate / MBA\
