Job Description :
This position will support strategic capture efforts throughout the sales life-cycle, including identifying and shaping opportunities, analyzing competitive landscape, developing strong and productive teaming relationships, and other relevant duties.
Responsibilities:
o Serving as Capture Manager leading (federal or state government) bid pursuits, including coordinating efforts with Bid Manager, pricing, legal, HR and other internal stakeholders to prepare bid submissions
o Working with Solution Architects and other technical resources to develop cost-effective, winning IT solutions
o Negotiating with subcontractor firms regarding bid participation and rates
o Managing multiple on-going projects simultaneously (from Proposal standpoint)
o May require writing scopes of work or other documents related to teaming as well as input to proposal Executive Summaries or other documents as required
o Support writing (and/or coordinating writing) of White Papers or other marketing documents as required to position solutions with potential clients
o Strong preference for experience in Federal and State & Local markets
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree
o 10+ years of experience overall
o 5-10 years of experience supporting proposals, business development and/or capture management
o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
o Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple efforts
o Team leadership skills
o Capable of collaborating with a number of virtual members to derive outcomes
o Must be result oriented, driven and demonstrate ability to build teams
