Job Description:
The Process Engineer is responsible for activities related to managing/coordinating the Plant and Process Safety lifecycle, Plant Process Control as well as support the Daily Operation of the plant by providing technological expertise.
Major Responsibilities:
Serve as the site Plant and Process Safety lead. Lead/support process safety studies (PHA, MSA, Explosion Safety, etc.). Coordinate resources to ensure on time completion of all process safety initiatives. Ensure resulting actions and recommendations are completed on time.
Serve as the site Process Control lead. Evaluate, assess and implement Process Control Improvements/Optimizations including as part of DCS, PLC, Remote Control, etc. Ensure process data is used to its full capability. Support the site in advancing its understanding and competencies in relevant areas.
Identify, analyze and solve incidental and structural process interruptions, disturbances and/or inefficiencies related to HSE, Quality, throughput and operation costs.
Based on the output of the Asset Utilization Work Process, propose actions for performance (process and quality) improvement and reduction of operating costs.
Support Operations in troubleshooting in case of process interruptions or disturbances.
Prepare and attend the daily production meeting by analyzing all relevant information from previous shifts on production, maintenance, and logistics.
Support all areas (Operations, HSE, Quality, Projects) in advancing the site initiatives by applying technical know-how and skills.
Maintain and control the technical documentation of the site, include process safety information.
Initiate, define, execute and evaluate small projects and modifications. Control cost, scope and milestones of all assigned technical projects.

PHA 2023 follow up and PHA 2024 Resource allocation and execution.
DCS Process Control Migration Project
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Advisory, communication and social skills
Working knowledge of Process Safety requirements and principles
Working knowledge of process control systems and batch production processes.
Working knowledge of relevant Manufacturing Excellence work processes such as Improve Plant & Maintenance Processes
Working knowledge of relevant practices such as FMEA, RCA, etc.
Working knowledge of applicable HSE & Manufacturing requirements.
Project management experience
Candidate Must Have:
BS in Engineering
Process Safety Experience
