Description:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing the
company’s capability in Procurement and Supply Chain(SCM) Business
Services. Develop the vision and plan to execute a go-to-market
strategy, and for providing distinctive thought leadership in this area,
collaborating with other Practices and accounts and delivery teams for
developing offerings and cross-selling to existing clients and
prospects. Prospective candidate will have to strike new deals in
Procurement and Supply chain business process services and will have a
Total contract value (TCV) as a target. Develop trust-based, enduring
relationships with key customer executives to identify emerging business
with the team, determine critical success factors (CSFs) and
collaboratively develop value propositions that address client needs
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Supply
Chain Business process services sales strategy demonstrating an ability
to synthesize a company’s market and competitive position, operational
and financial characteristics and stakeholder objectives into a
compelling strategic plan that can be executed to drive long term
growth.
• Experience working in global
or multinational business in the US,India and other global locations
and in an onsite/offshore environment
• Business Acumen – ability to
see the big picture, understand the key drivers of the business and how
they relate to each other to drive profitable growth.
• Experience with enterprise
scale applications such as ERP, Supply Chain specific applications
Ariba, Coupa, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Salesforce etc
• Outstanding communication
and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with
C-Level executives and ability to build relationships and effectively
influence all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
• High energy individual with positive attitude who can work as part of a cross-functional team
• Demonstrated track record of goal achievement.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Analytical – Possesses a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical and business reasoning skills
• Collaboration and influence -
utilizes interpersonal relations, judgment skills to influence
outcomes, and establishes credibility with senior management as well as
peers.
• Proven ability to contribute to high level strategy in addition to being a master of details and process when needed.
• Collaborate with the
internal Supply Chain practice, presales and delivery teams to build and
improve the offerings, improve positioning in the market and create
greater visibility
