TCS’ core mandate is to help its Aero & Defense clients to envision, design and develop growth and
transformation priorities that will unlock significant business value (top and bottom line) in line with
their corporate objectives. These transformational opportunities could be across the enterprise value
chain - new product strategy to supply chain to manufacturing to sales and service – covering various
middle to top level stakeholders. TCS drives these transformations by leveraging the industry
knowledge, contextual knowledge of the client and digital levers.
Key responsibilities:
o Consultative approach to identify / hunt key business challenges and develop
transformation vision with clients CXOs (only within our existing client base...)
o Drive new transformation opportunities across the enterprise value chain (Product
Design to Supply Chain & Operations to Sales / Service; non-core functions like HR, IT transformation
o Develop strategic roadmap to drive transformation realization
o Direct delivery of transformational programs
Qualifications:
o MBA and Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or management
o 15+ years’ experience in transformational consultative selling
o 8-10 years of proven aero industry knowledge
o Proven strategic consulting background
o Dealing with CXO / Senior stakeholders of an organization
o Good digital background (IOT, I4.0, Digital Levers influencing the industry etc)
o Exposure to work with teams based in different geo and different time zones
o Critical thinking, Highly analytical, Data driven
o Ability to work as a “lone warrior” or “as a team player”
