TCS is looking to hire an SAP Project Systems Consultant for the Global Consulting Practice. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at TCS clients. They will be required to coordinate the work of TCS and client team members for one or more projects and will be accountable for the successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components for transformation projects. The role will be responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project. It will be expected that the candidate demonstrates end-to-end business process knowledge in Demand to Supply (DTS) processes.
*Responsibilities:
• Candidate will be responsible for leading the design, build, testing and deployment of changed or new business processes enabled by the SAP S/4 solutions
• Lead business workshops with key stakeholders and drive results in line with the project plan
• Provide business process solutions to meet clients’ business priorities and requirements within the context of industry leading practices
• Provide contribution in project planning and execution according to objectives, specifications, schedules, and quality standards
• Develop implementation schedules, system implementation planning, and execution.
• Ensure project success criteria are met
• Builds strong relationships with IT/business peers and management to best meet company goals and objectives
• Coordinate project timeline with her/his team(s) to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the client’s satisfaction
• Manage overall resource allocation and capacity planning for the project
• Report project level status, metrics, issues and risks and manage overall completion and sign-off on project deliverables
• Lead and manage small teams conducting transformational projects, implementing business process improvements, or implementing ERP systems for our clients
• Conduct workshops (e.g. requirements gathering, solution architecting) with business managers. Work with client staff and end-users to determine the business and functional requirements for the system within an ERP solution
• Create detailed systems documentation, test scripts, and presentations
• Leverage business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement
• Configure the SAP system to meet the business requirements
• Provide leadership and guidance to other analysts and client personnel assigned to the projects
• Collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals
*Qualifications:
• Experience leading large global, consulting led Demand to Supply (DTS) business transformation program delivery with proven track record and a deep understanding of business value
• Mandatory: Demonstrates knowledge of end-to-end Demand to Supply business processes including Discrete and Process Manufacturing, Production Planning and Execution, Quality Management, MES integration, Experience with Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management (EPPM), Project Systems (PS)
• Optional: IBP4Demand, IBP Sales & Operations Planning, IBP4Inventory, IBP4Supply&Response, IBPControl Tower), Enterprise Asset Management (Plant Maintenance, Fleet Management, Customer Service, Linear Asset Management)
• Proven ability to lead design workshops, plan and deliver build objects (configuration and development), testing, and deployment of SAP DTS business processes enabled by the S/4 HANA functionality
• EPPM and PS experience. Utilities, manufacturing, or aerospace experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of industry specific KPI’s and benefits of S/4HANA functionality
• Ability to communicate with business process owners using business language and translate business requirements into technical specifications, configuration and testing script documents
• Understanding of integration with the Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and Record to Report business processes.
• Ability to lead functional teams, providing accurate effort and duration estimates.
• Ability to self-direct and mentor/manage consulting and client team members.
• Ability to execute and/or direct system configuration to meet requirements via ‘hands-on” configuration, as required.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Demonstrated experience in managing transformational initiatives.
• At least three (3) full life cycle implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi-module implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse)
• A minimum of eight (8) years prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience
• At least three (3) years’ experience in proposal and business case development
• Experience managing 5 to 10 resources
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Bachelors degree or equivalent required
• Ability to work in the country without current or future visa sponsorship
