Position Details: Engagement Director - Solution Architecture

*Job Description 

TCS is looking to hire an Engagement Director for the Global Consulting Practice. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at TCS clients. They will be required to coordinate the work of TCS and client team members for one or more projects and will be accountable for the successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components for transformation projects. The role will be responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project. It will be expected that the candidate demonstrates end-to-end business process knowledge in SAP processes.

*Responsibilities:

•Should be able to provide strategic guidance in use of SAP technology & Innovations 

•Design and optimize the deployment of SAP technology, and maintain IT networks and services

•Map business processes to the software and infrastructure that supports them

•Identify business problems, collect data, and use that knowledge to find solutions

•Communicate solutions clearly across the organization

•Oversee various transformational projects, implementing business improvements, or implementing ERP systems for our clients

•Coordinate project timeline with teams to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the clients satisfaction

•Collaboration with the project team members in the management of overall resources allocation and capacity planning for the project

•Manage program level status, metrics, issues, and risks and oversee all completion and sign-off on program deliverables

•Provide leadership and guidance to project team and client leadership assigned to the program

•Lead and collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals 

•Leverage his/her broad business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement

*Qualifications: 

•Knowledge of Security Design for SAP Landscape and infrastructure

•Create patterns and standards for reuse to drive standardization

•Establish and evaluate performance metrics like time-to-market and cost-to-change

•Understanding of SAP Solutions and Core business processes

•Good understanding of Cloud Technologies and Cloud platforms

•Should have good understanding of SAP Portfolio of Products

•7-10 yrs of experience with Project and Team management  with min 15 yrs of overall SAP experience

•5-6 Full SAP implementations with 2-3 on S/4 HANA transformation. 

•Experience in working with RISE environment and ECS team

•Experience leading large global business transformation program delivery with proven track record and a deep understanding of business values of transformation programs/objectives

•Ability to speak business language, guide business counterparts towards the right SAP solution and translate business requirements into technical requirements

•Experience leading sales opportunities

•Ability to be hands on if required and mentor junior team members

•Ability to leverage and build assets/accelerators and thought leadership

•Experience managing 20+ resources

•Willingness to travel up to 100%

•Bachelors degree or equivalent required
