Role: Business Development Lead - Public Services
Location: Florida - commutable to Tallahassee area
Introduction:
The Business Development Lead position is a key growth and
transformation role within TCS’ Market Unit, responsible for driving and
executing Business Development strategies to acquire target clients
across various industries. This is a sales role aimed at acquiring new
clients. The candidate will leverage TCS’s entire portfolio of services
for targeted firms while working collaboratively with other market
development, solutions teams and industry SMEs to generate demand and
capture qualified opportunities.
Job Description:
The candidate will play a both a role farmer and hunter role,
responsible for acquiring new business in targeted departments within
the Public Sector and overseeing business relationships for those newly
acquired departmental relationships for TCS on up and through the most
senior executives of these departments and the government entity as a
whole.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree from a Leading Top 100 University or College is
mandatory. Technical Undergraduate Degree preferred. Graduate Degree
preferred.
•Min 10 years of overall selling experience with majority experience in Public Sector.
•Preferably should have worked in a leading IT services/consulting firm with experience in collaborating across global teams.
