Description:
The VMO Manager supports Sony Pictures' IT outsourcing by managing
vendor relationships, tracking performance, and ensuring contract
compliance. This role focuses on optimizing services, controlling costs,
and aligning vendors with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Performance:
o Understand the requirements and manage the online portal
o Configure , Monitor SLAs and KPIs, addressing performance issues promptly.
o Escalate and resolve performance concerns.
o Negotiating contracts with suppliers
o Assessing the performance of vendors
o Ensuring vendor compliance with company standards
o Managing vendor billing and disbursements
2. Contract Management:
o Support contract review and compliance.
o Manage contract renewals, amendments and timelines.
3. Vendor Relationships:
o Serve as the main contact for vendor communication and issue resolution.
o Foster collaboration to ensure service improvements.
4. Cost Optimization:
o Analyze invoices for accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities.
o Ensure vendor billing aligns with contract terms.
5. Reporting & Analytics:
o Generate reports on vendor performance and service delivery metrics.
o Provide insights to improve vendor services.
6. Risk & Compliance:
o Ensure vendors comply with security, data privacy, and legal standards.
o Identify and mitigate vendor-related risks.
7. Process Improvement:
o Enhance vendor management processes for efficiency and transparency.
8. Collaboration:
o Work closely with IT and procurement teams to align vendor services with strategic goals.
