About the Job
• Be the go-to subject matter expert on general contracting and construction industry, business processes and terminologies
• Provide contextual knowledge regarding general contracting industry, such as best practices, industry standards and KPIs
• Identify opportunities for improvements and engagement
• Help breakdown high level
business requirements, help in refining requirements for IT systems for
project management budgeting/invoicing, ERP etc.
• Anchor customer facing workshops and CXO level conversation for roadmap and vision development
• Provide planning and business development inputs for the accounts such as latest industry trends, investment etc.
• Exposure to IT systems used for planning, project management and supply chain
• Comfortable with documentation, presentation, Process maps and Requirements Gathering
Qualifications:
• 13-15 years of experience
• Bachelor’s in construction management, Hands on experience in delivering large commercial construction projects
• Visible and well recognized
strategic leader in the construction industry, demonstrated thought
leadership and innovation through innovative project work,
representation in industry bodies and forums
• Excellent verbal and written
communication skills with the ability to articulate conflicts and
technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and
non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to Foster and
forge strong relationship with customers, project teams, external
partners and ensuring alignment, sponsorship, and support
• Excellent understanding construction domain, regulations, standards, and codes
• Proficient in software
packages and tools commonly used in construction industry such as Revit,
BIM, building connected, procore , JD Edwards etc
• Track record of successful implementation of end-to-end complex commercial projects and general contracting
