Job Description:
- We
are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Technical Leader to drive the
design, development, and deployment of AI, GenAI and machine learning
solutions within our LSHCERU business group. This role bridges the gap
between advanced AI technologies and business objectives, ensuring
practical, scalable, and secure implementations that align with enterprise
strategy.
- The
ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking,
strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence
cross-functional teams including senior customer stakeholders at CxO
level.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy and Architecture
- Define
and lead the AI technology roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Evaluate
and select appropriate AI/ML frameworks, platforms, and tools.
- Design
scalable architectures for AI model training, deployment, monitoring, and
governance.
- Develop
AI/GenAI use cases specifically to cater for business problems within the
Life science, Healthcare, Energy & Resources, Utilities business
domains
- Establish
GTM initiatives based on market specific needs and business domain
problems
Technical Leadership
- In-depth
knowledge of the AI/GenAI/ML technology landscape and various solutions
- Guide
teams of data scientists, ML engineers, software developers, and IT
professionals.
- Ensure
best practices in AI/ML development including code quality, MLOps, data
security, and ethical AI.
- Lead
POCs (proof of concept) and pilot projects to test and validate AI
solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner
with account stakeholders, customer teams, third party technology vendors
to ensure alignment and integration of AI initiatives.
- Collaborate
with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy AI services on platforms such as
AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solutions Oversight
- Oversee
AI project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery, budget alignment, and
value realization.
- Manage
risks associated with AI systems including bias, compliance, data privacy,
and performance.
Innovation and R&D
- Stay
abreast of the latest AI trends and research to identify opportunities for
innovation.
- Promote
a culture of continuous learning and experimentation within the AI
team
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
(Ph.D. a plus).
- 15+
years of experience in software engineering or IT roles, with at least 5
years in AI/ML leadership.
- Strong
hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch,
scikit-learn.
- Proficiency
in Python, and knowledge of data engineering tools like Spark, Airflow, or
Kafka.
- Experience
with cloud-native AI solutions (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex
AI).
- Solid
understanding of data governance, security, and MLOps best
practices.
- Strong
problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience
mentoring and managing technical teams.
