Job Description:
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze and understand business processes, data ecosystems, technology solutions mapping, data architecture and overall data management principles within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on data entities and software used in the subsurface data industry.
  • Document and validate business requirements to ensure that the requirements are aligned with industry’s best practices, and are clear, comprehensive, and testable.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, business users, and vendors, to design and optimize digital transformation solutions tailored for the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Assist in the selection, integration, and deployment of data solutions to achieve accelerated business outcomes for clients.
  • Present to industry forums or other agreed channels, TCS PoV’s and thought leadership in the Oil & Gas domain
Technical/Functional Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector to drive digital transformation and technological innovation.
  • Excellent knowledge in the areas of Data Management (Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management),Data Strategy and Data Analytics.
  • Knowledge of upstream energy file types, such as LAS, SEG-Y, and others.
  • Knowledge of Al/GenAl solutions and how these are applicable in the Oil & Gas domain.
  • Experience in the design and optimization of data solutions tailored for the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Drive digital transformation projects by working closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, business users, and vendors.
Experience Required:
  • 15+ years of experience in IT consulting, with considerable background in the Oil & Gas domain.
  • Proficiency in digital transformation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams and drive change management initiatives.
  • Extensive practical experience (hands on) in Data Management and Data & Analytics solutions within the corresponding domain.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Data Analytics landscape in regard to vendors and technical solutions (e.g. PPDM, Snowflake, OSDU, etc.).
  • Extensive practical experience (hands on) in Data Management and Data & Analytics solutions within the corresponding domain. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the Data Analytics landscape in regard to vendors and technical solutions (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, etc.). 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary Range: $116,300-$160,700 a year
