We are
seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join our Industry Marketing
(IM) team at TCS. This role is pivotal in enhancing how TCS’s industry
units engage with external media and manage strategic communication
initiatives across various industry groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Press Office:
- Craft compelling press releases that highlight TCS’s achievements and industry insights.
- Ensure timely dissemination to relevant media outlets and stakeholders to maximize coverage and impact.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
- Thought Leadership Positioning:
- Develop and implement strategies to position TCS executives and subject matter experts as industry thought leaders.
- Create engaging content suitable for media showcasing TCS’s expertise and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with industry leaders and influencers to amplify TCS’s thought leadership presence.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders,
including media representatives, industry analysts, and business
partners.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between TCS’s industry units and external stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to enhance engagement and communication.
- Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality content that resonates with diverse audiences, including customers, partners, and media.
- Utilize storytelling techniques to convey TCS’s value proposition and industry leadership.
- Manage content creation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Trend Analysis and Competitive Benchmarking:
- Conduct thorough analysis of industry trends and competitive landscape to craft communication strategies.
- Identify opportunities for TCS to differentiate itself and capitalize on emerging trends.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
- Editing and Proofreading:
- Review and refine communication materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in all written content.
- Collaborate with content creators to enhance the impact and effectiveness of communication materials.
- Event-Related PR Coordination:
- Plan and execute PR strategies for industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Manage media relations and press coverage for events, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement.
- Develop event-specific communication materials, including press kits, speeches, and presentations.
- Data and Analytics Utilization:
- Leverage data and analytics tools, such as Semrush, Google Analytics, to measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the impact of communication efforts.

Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in communications or PR
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex IT concepts for broader audiences
- Experience in event PR and media coordination
- Knowledge of AI and automation tools for sentiment and media monitoring
