AP Extended Spare Parts Planning and Scheduling Program Director
Job Description:
An ideal candidate must have hands on experience with extended
spare parts planning with in SAP S4 platform. Experience with foresting
within S4 as well as external tools is a must. The eSPP consultant will
be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and optimization of
Spare Parts Planning and Scheduling solutions within SAP environments,
specifically leveraging the functionalities of SAP eSPP. The consultant
will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless
alignment of spare parts logistics with overall maintenance and service
operations.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise,
experience, and knowledge with at least two customers is required. A
customer reference must be provided for eSPP.
• Specific experience in Aerospace & Defense or Automotive sectors is necessary.
• Lead the implementation of
SAP eSPP modules, focusing on demand forecasting, inventory
optimization, and dynamic replenishment planning for spare parts.
• Configure planning
algorithms and scheduling parameters to deliver accurate, timely spare
parts availability in support of maintenance and repair workflows.
• Support scenario simulation
and what-if analysis to anticipate service level requirements and adapt
to changing operational demands.
• Establish monitoring processes and reporting tools for continuous improvement of spare parts planning performance.
• Proven experience in deploying and configuring SAP eSPP solutions, including at least two full-cycle project implementations.
• Strong background in spare
parts planning, scheduling, and supply chain optimization, preferably
within the Aerospace & Defense or similar asset-intensive
industries.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional project teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Experience leading large
global, consulting led Demand to Supply (DTS) business transformation
program delivery with proven track record and a deep understanding of
business value
• Mandatory: Demonstrates
knowledge of end-to-end Demand to Supply business processes including
Discrete and Process Manufacturing, Production Planning and Execution
(including embedded PPDS), Quality Management (QM), MES integration
• Proven ability to lead
design workshops, plan and deliver build objects (configuration and
development), testing, and deployment of SAP DTS business processes
enabled by the S/4 HANA functionality
• Deep understanding of industry specific KPI’s and benefits of S/4HANA functionality
• Ability to communicate with
business process owners using business language and translate business
requirements into technical specifications, configuration and testing
script documents
• Understanding of integration with the Order to Cash, Purchase to P ay, and Record to Report business processes.
• Ability to lead functional teams, providing accurate effort and duration estimates.
• Ability to self-direct and mentor/manage consulting and client team members.
• Ability to execute and/or direct system configuration to meet requirements via ‘hands-on” configuration, as required.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Demonstrated experience in managing transformational initiatives.
• At least five(5) full life
cycle implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi-module
implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse)
• A minimum of ten (10) years prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience
• At least six (6) years’ experience in proposal and business case development
• Proven sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Experience managing 20+ resources
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Bachelors degree or equivalent required
