Description:
Research in advance areas of Computer vision for COBOTS & Autonomous Robots for Manufacturing Plant. The role involves designing perception systems, developing vision-based algorithms for navigation, object detection, obstacle avoidance and collaborate with robotics engineers to deploy models for real world applications.
Major Job Responsibilities:
• Vision guided Part detection and Localization for assembly
• Vision Guided Pick and Place and bin picking
• Safety Monitoring for human-robot interaction
• Multi Sensor fusion (Camera, Lidar, Radar, Depth Sensors)
• Visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping)
• Object detection, recognition and tracking
• Semantic segmentation and scene planning
Qualifications:
• Masters /PhD in Computer Vision based AI Systems- 4-7 Years of research experience
• Bachelors in computer science/Robotics/Mechanical/Mechatronics
• Proficiency in computer vision framework – Open CV, Py. Torch, Tensor Flow
• Experience in Visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), YOLO, Faster R CNN and deep learning models
• Knowledge of NVIDIA ISSAC Sim, Omniverse to develop the models
• Basic knowledge of Cobot programming – Python, C ++, KRL, RAPID
• Publications, Patents or Prior Projects in AI + Robotics Vision
