Position Details: SAP Program Director

About the Job 

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP transformation programs, including S/4HANA implementations in Public Cloud architecture

• Deep understanding of SAP modules (Finance, Project System, Procurement) and integration points

• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology frameworks

• Ability to manage multi-phase, multi-country rollouts

• Familiarity with SAP architecture, data migration strategies, and cloud deployment models

• Understanding of interfaces, middleware, and third-party integrations

• Expertise in governance, risk management, and compliance for SAP programs

• Proficiency in SAP Cloud ALM, project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project), and reporting dashboards

• SAP Certification in ‘Activate Methodology’ and ‘SAP Public Cloud’

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define SAP program vision, roadmap, and governance structure aligned with business objectives

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects within agreed scope, timelines, and budget

• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to SAP best practices

• Act as the primary liaison between Customer business leaders, IT teams, and other major stakeholders

• Drive executive-level communication and reporting

• Build and lead cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts

• Mentor and develop talent within the program team

• Manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation effectively

• Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of SAP solutions

• Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues proactively throughout the program lifecycle
